Fall has passed, winter has come, and summer is back, but we all know the snow will be here soon and our winter nesting will be in place. With that in mind think about a new technique or a new project to cuddle into. Studio wish lists are available, so plan your visit to complete your list and share with those who have you on their gift-giving list. I am happy to pre-shop and make the pickup or delivery very easy for all wishing the extra help. And free gift wrapping is also available.
As the holiday season begins this year, I have a new focus on gratitude. Life is different now, a bit slower, and I appreciate the little things, supportive customers, how beautiful laugh lines are at the corner of smiling eyes above a mask, handmade gifts, and knowing those we love are healthy. I am so thankful for each and every one of you, and that you are still shopping and supporting local. It means a tremendous amount to all of the local businesses. I hope that this season brings you happiness, health, and good laugh lines!

CHRISTMAS TAG-A-MENTS, $15/SESSION STUDIO FEE + $75.95 KIT COST
Wednesday, November 11th, 10am-3pm
A rustic, vintage-style collection of tag like ornaments. There are 12 designs in all measuring approx. 4" x 6". The complete collection will be offered as a club, two tags will be completed each month right in time for Christmas giving. The pattern photo is just an example, we have made some fun changes to the colors used. Two tags will be completed each month from June to December. This is one you won’t want to miss out on. Still room in this one, and plenty of time to complete before Christmas.

January 2021 Stitch Spargo Club
If you like folk art and are curious about Sue Spargo’s techniques, this club is for you! There are three meetings scheduled for each project, and you will be required to work on your own. More information will be announced on the upcoming project and cost. Class group is limited to 6.

Monday, November 9, 10am-4pm
Try your hand at hand piecing in this "tempter" class with Jen Kingwell’s pattern, Florence. We will make an 8" star block in class that will be used to cover an 8" pillow form. Class fee includes an 8" pillow form and batting, pattern, and instruction. This project is great for fabric scraps or Tilda fabrics we have in stock.
Class limited to 6 people.
Everyday Essentials-Wool and Wax Tote Class

Friday, November 13th, 10 am-4 pm
A modern chic utility tote, made from Linen and Waxed Canvas, finished with leather straps and rivet accents. This bag is sure to be a favorite. Designed by Anna Griffin, of Noodlehead. Pattern and all supplies available at the studio.

If you love vintage fabric and great projects, then consider this fun club beginning this month. Tilda exclusive projects will be offered and the studio has Tilda’s wonderfully fun fabrics in stock, with more to come. Or use your own. And of course, we will mix in some wools and hand stitching from time to time. Patterns and supplies vary on a monthly basis.

This is a Farmgirl original! 18” x 42” Wall hanging using printed selvages from fabrics! Cost includes instruction and studio space. Start saving them now, selvages are available if you do not have any. Registration payment will hold your spot. Class space limited.
In More Exciting News…
Farmgirl Quilts will be hosting a Featherweight sewing machine club. We will be meeting monthly starting in January. You must own a Singer Featherweight sewing machine to attend. You will be working on your own projects and there will be optional group projects offered!
Our first project will be a cover for your machine case to keep it in tip top shape! Please contact the shop to sign up. Space is limited! Club fee for the year is $50.
To celebrate our fabulous Singer Featherweights I am happy to announce that extension tables for your machine will be available for the Christmas holidays! Order a 18 x 24 inch table extension, in shiny black with a gold decal ruler, by November 15th to save 15% and receive free shipping. Orders must be prepaid as these are custom made. Each table comes with polish and cloth to keep it looking new! Sale price $125.24 includes tax. FQS will be hosting guest shop owner Tina Bauer from Bittersweet Quilt Shop featuring her Singer Featherweight School House. Date and fee will be available soon.
