December Journal

Wow, it is December, not that I had forgotten, it just seems the days fly into the nights before I know it. So much happens here, and there is so much new coming in the next few months. I am beginning to receive new bolts of fabrics for your making needs. Free Spirit, Moda, Andover, and Dear Stella, just to name a few. Tilda's Woodland is due in the studio in January and we are all very excited about its arrival. Shipments are being affected by the pandemic, but rest assured, they will eventually be delivered. I will be posting on Facebook as new items arrived, please tune in to our page for current updates.

I am happy to announce that I will be the 2021 President of the Marquette County Quilters Association. If you are not familiar with this group, 2021 would be a great time to join and get involved with our local guild. Membership information will be available at the studio, check out the website to find out more about MCQA. We welcome all levels of quilters. Meetings will be held via Zoom while group attendance is limited, it is the goal of this year's board to engage you, to excite you, and keep you zooming in for more each month. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. See you there.

The studio remains very busy despite the pandemic. I am grateful for the loyal support of old and new guests. During the month of December we will keep regular business hours as follows, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays from 10-5, through December 21st, you may drop-in or call ahead for a private visit during these days.

I WILL BE TAKING A CHRISTMAS BREAK FROM DECEMBER 22ND THROUGH DECEMBER 27TH, AND AGAIN DECEMBER 30 THROUGH JANUARY 3, 2021

I leave you with this message of love...”Christmas is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal and that every path may lead to peace." As we enter this season of celebration and love, I ask that everyone shares a simple act of kindness with some who may be alone during this time, take care of some who may have a need, cheer up a friend or neighbor, show kindness to someone searching for a home. Share the gift of love, take time to listen to a friend or someone on the street who may be in need of an open ear. Share your wealth, health, and kindness with all you come into contact with.

As we have learned this year, we know not what tomorrow will bring. Share yourself, your time, and your talents. Be good to your spouse, your children your families, friends, and your neighbors. Spread the beauty of the season during this month and the next year to come. God Bless you all, keep you safe, healthy, and kind.

Thank you all for your giving hearts, your loyal support, and your love for me, my family, and my craft. I love you all. 2021 will bring new and exciting challenges to all, new experiences, and new memories, embrace them.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, AND A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
