Asheville, North Carolina Quilt& Linen Collection 

Collection will begin October 4th through October 29 at Farmgirl Quilts Studio

What are we collecting:
New bed size quilts, new in the package cotton sheet sets, twin to king, and cash/check donations. No used items.

Where do you take donations or have them shipped to:  

Farmgirl Quilts Studio, 248 Mangum Road, Marquette, MI 49855

When and where will donations be taken:
We will be delivering donations to Bittersweet Quilt Shop in Pinconning, MI on November 1. On November 17th, all donations will be delivered to Weaverville, North Carolina where they will be distributed to members of surrounding devastated communities.

Where will our cash donations go?:
All cash or check donations will be given to one family in need. We have a good source in Asheville who will help us decide what family will receive all cash donations.If you choose to write a check please make it out to: Bittersweet Quilt Shop. They do an audit of all money coming in and then write one check in the end. 

When donating a quilt:
Please download & print, & fill out the PDF linked below. In the past we have had recipients ask for names and addresses of the maker so they could send a card. The form also helps keep us organized during distribution.
